Adam Barrack vs Shaun Cochran

Boxing Daily Report from the Vexa promoted show at San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, Stockton,  taking place on 09/05/2035:

Clearly Vexa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Adam Barrack (23(10) - 3) who hails from Lancaster, USA and Shaun Cochran(12 - 11(1) - 1) from Oakland, USA.  Barrack weighed in at 154 pounds, while Cochran weighed in at 153 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cris Villagomez, and the three ringside judges are Michael Rice, Josh Beltran and Cruz Arebalo.  

Round 1: 

Barrack steps away from his opponent.  Cochran tries to land a jab, but Barrack dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Cochran's body.  
Cochran gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Barrack lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Barrack lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Cochran steps inside.  Barrack lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Barrack pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cochran hits home with a cross.  
Barrack lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cochran closes the distance.  Barrack is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cochran manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Barrack lands with a hard jab.  
Cochran steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Cochran's body.  
Barrack switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Barrack lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Barrack lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cochran throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Barrack switches the action to the outside.  Barrack sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Cochran closes the distance.  Barrack pivots to the left of his opponent.  Cochran throws a left hook, but Barrack holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Barrack feints a right, and then hits home with a firm cross.  
Barrack lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cochran's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Cochran closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Barrack clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Barrack pushes his forearm into Cochran's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Barrack about fouling.

Barrack lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Barrack pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Barrack switches the action to the outside.  Barrack feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Cochran tries to land a left uppercut, but Barrack parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Cochran's body.

Barrack is on target with a right uppercut.  
Barrack is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Cochran throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Barrack's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Barrack is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cochran's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Cochran's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
