Russell Smyth vs Morgan Fidler

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New Mexico promoted show at Wool Warehouse, Albuquerque,  taking place on 08/05/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-SouthWest Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Russell Smyth (22 - 6(3)) who hails from Tulsa, USA and Morgan Fidler(19(6) - 3) from Albuquerque, USA.  Smyth weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Fidler weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mohsin Matar, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Prior, Ashley Herriott and Danyaal Zehri.

Fidler closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Fidler.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
