Gareth Hare vs Rob McCaig

Boxing Daily Report from the Ililonga Promotions promoted show at Milwaukee McGuinness, Milwaukee,  taking place on 06/05/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Hare (9 - 20(1) - 3) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Rob McCaig(23(11) - 10(2) - 1) from Madison, USA.  Both Hare and McCaig weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rex Applegarth, and the three ringside judges are Vincent Elias, John Peart and Theo Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

McCaig is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McCaig digs in a solid left hook to Hare's body.  
McCaig lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  McCaig ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

McCaig gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Hare on the ropes.  McCaig pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.

McCaig is on target with a right uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  McCaig has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .  
McCaig steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  McCaig holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks McCaig's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McCaig manages to force Hare into a corner.  McCaig attempts to land a right hook, but Hare blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
McCaig hits home with a stinging right hook.  
McCaig drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  
McCaig lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
McCaig lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hare's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Hare steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but McCaig sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
McCaig steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
McCaig lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Hare steps away from his opponent and tries to land a cross, but McCaig dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McCaig gets on the inside and hits home with a stinging right hook.

McCaig manouvers Hare onto the ropes.  McCaig connects with a left uppercut.

Hare steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Hare is looking to close the distance.  McCaig is on target with a solid right hook to Hare's body.  
McCaig advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
McCaig lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.

McCaig crashes a nasty right uppercut to Hare's body.  HARE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
McCaig cuts off the ring, trapping Hare in a corner.  McCaig stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  McCaig lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS HARE DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
McCaig lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND DROPS HARE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Hare now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
McCaig sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Hare's body.

McCaig lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
McCaig steps inside.  McCaig pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McCaig lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
McCaig lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
McCaig closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.
