Alejandro Mesa vs Odo Gladieux

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Estadio Gran Parque Central, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Real Americano Alejandro Mesa (42(25) - 8(6) - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Odo Gladieux(20 - 7(4) - 2) from Charleroi, Belgium.  Both Mesa and Gladieux weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ximen Feria, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Canedo, Pablo Mesquita and Yago Montejo.

Gladieux closes the distance.  Mesa knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Mesa lands a right hook, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING GLADIEUX DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  However, the ref is not convinced Gladieux is fit to continue. He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Mesa!
