Tom Johnston vs Kofi Bibodi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Copper Box Arena, London,  taking place on 25/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tom Johnston (20(16) - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Kofi Bibodi(21 - 2 - 1) from Gulu, Uganda.  Johnston weighed in at 126 pounds, while Bibodi weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zach Underwood, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Pritchard, Ian Parry and Aeron Wyburn.  

Round 1: 

Johnston lands with a sharp jab.  
Johnston steps to the outside.  Bibodi is on target with a stinging jab.  
Johnston feints a right hook, and then hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Bibodi manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Bibodi is on target with a cross.  
Bibodi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Johnston connects with a firm cross.  Johnston throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut to Johnston's body.  
Johnston tries to land a jab, but Bibodi sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Johnston lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Bibodi walks Johnston down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Johnston is on target with a jab.  
Johnston tries to step out of his opponents range.  Johnston sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bibodi throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a MASSIVE left uppercut.  BIBODI IS HURT!  Bibodi quickly recovers. 
Bibodi hits the target with a solid jab.  Bibodi throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook to Bibodi's body.  
Bibodi lands a cross.  
Johnston steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Bibodi walks Johnston onto the ropes.  Bibodi pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Bibodi tries to keep the action at long range.  Johnston lands a hard jab.  
Bibodi throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bibodi switches the action to the outside.  Johnston throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Johnston's ribs.  
Johnston tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Johnston lands a jab, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Johnston switches the action to the outside.  Johnston is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Johnston lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BIBODI!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Bibodi now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Bibodi throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Bibodi manages to force Johnston onto the ropes.  Johnston is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Bibodi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Johnston connects with a sharp right hook.  
Johnston steps away from his opponent.  Bibodi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Johnston lands an overhand right.  
Johnston throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bibodi's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Bibodi snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Bibodi walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Bibodi lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Johnston lands a ramrod jab.  
Bibodi pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Bibodi leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Johnston tries to tag Bibodi on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Johnston is on target with a MASSIVE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE BIBODI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Johnston thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bibodi away.  Johnston lands a MASSIVE left uppercut.  BIBODI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Johnston!
