Cruz Cortinas vs John Elliot

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Westpac, Melbourne,  taking place on 07/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Cruz Cortinas (4(3) - 0) who hails from Naucalpan, Mexico and John Elliot(11(1) - 5 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Cortinas and Elliot weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Mun, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Gebbie, Ian Niven and Jake Denniston.

Cortinas is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS ELLIOT TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Cortinas holds on to his opponent.  Cortinas leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Cortinas pushes his forearm into Elliot's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Elliot almost instantly recovers.
