George Komon vs Deiondre Chepkwony

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Macharinyang, Mombasa,  taking place on 26/04/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Komon (15 - 12(1) - 1) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Deiondre Chepkwony(17 - 9) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Komon and Chepkwony weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Sakudao, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Badini, George Waciuma and Robert Perlo.  

Round 1: 

Chepkwony gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Komon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Komon is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Chepkwony gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  Chepkwony ties up his opponent.  Chepkwony uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Komon behind the head. 
Chepkwony gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Komon throws a left uppercut, but Chepkwony clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Chepkwony pushes his forearm into Komon's face.  The ref breaks Chepkwony's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Chepkwony wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Komon dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Chepkwony tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chepkwony connects with a right hook.  Chepkwony ties up his opponent.  Chepkwony hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chepkwony.  
Chepkwony pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Komon tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Chepkwony manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Chepkwony lands a right uppercut.  
Chepkwony lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Chepkwony cuts off the ring, trapping Komon in the corner.  Chepkwony sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Komon's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Komon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
