Duncan Curtis vs Jerrold Albuquerque

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Staples Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 02/06/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Curtis (23(6) - 1 - 1) who hails from Fremont, USA and Jerrold Albuquerque(21 - 9(1)) from Riverside, USA.  Curtis weighed in at 243 pounds and 15 ounces, while Albuquerque weighed in at 259 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Rice, and the three ringside judges are Ian Woodhead, Dillon Ireland and Denton Philip.  

Round 1: 

Curtis feints a right hook, and then digs in a solid left hook to Albuquerque's body.
