Peter Harp vs Arnie Pinkerton

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Wollongong Showground, Wollongong,  taking place on 26/05/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Harp (41(37) - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Arnie Pinkerton(8 - 3(2) - 2) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Harp weighed in at 130 pounds, while Pinkerton weighed in at 129 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Inigo Macina, and the three ringside judges are Colin McKay, Robert Callis and Antwan Campbell.  

Round 1: 

Harp closes the distance.  Pinkerton throws a right uppercut, but Harp holds on to his opponent.  Harp pushes his forearm into Pinkerton's face.  The referee warns Harp and breaks the clinch.  
Harp lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Harp closes the distance and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Harp EXPLODES a mean left hook into his opponents face.  PINKERTON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Pinkerton almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Harp gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook to Pinkerton's body.  Harp ties up his opponent.  Harp leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Harp is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Harp clinches his opponent.  Harp leans on his opponent using all his weight. Harp tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pinkerton behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Harp pivots from in front of his opponent.  Harp digs in a solid right uppercut to Pinkerton's ribs.  Harp clinches his opponent.  Harp is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Pinkerton tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Harp dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Harp lands a left hook.  Harp ties up his opponent.  Harp throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Harp lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Harp manouvers Pinkerton onto the ropes.  Harp lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Harp lands a stinging right hook.  
Harp steps inside.  Harp sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Pinkerton recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Harp advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Harp holds on to his opponent.  Harp leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Harp stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Harp connects with a CRUSHING cross.  DOWN GOES PINKERTON!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Pinkerton has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Harp pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Pinkerton's body.  
Harp hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Harp drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Harp closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Harp is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Harp is on target with a stinging left hook to Pinkerton's ribs.  
Harp is on target with a stinging left hook.  Harp holds on to his opponent.  Harp leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Harp dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pinkerton steps away from his opponent.  Harp attempts to land a cross, but Pinkerton dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pinkerton's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Pinkerton's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Pinkerton's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Harp lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pinkerton almost instantly recovers. 
Pinkerton is looking to keep his distance.  Pinkerton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Harp lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Pinkerton recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Harp gets on the inside and hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Harp forces Pinkerton to back into the corner.  Harp sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Harp lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Harp ties up his opponent.  Harp uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pinkerton behind the head. Harp tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pinkerton behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Pinkerton recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Harp lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Harp holds on to his opponent.  Harp tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pinkerton's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As Pinkerton tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Harp dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Harp lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Harp gets on the inside.  Harp quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING PINKERTON TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Harp!
