Yakiv Bazan vs John Metro

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Davenport Glendening, Davenport,  taking place on 16/04/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Yakiv Bazan (2 - 0) who hails from Vitebsk, Belarus and John Metro(2 - 2 - 1) from San Antonio, USA.  Both Bazan and Metro weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Hutchison, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Rielly, Rob Winning and Mark Starrett.  

Round 1: 

Metro is looking to close the distance.  Bazan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bazan is on target with a right hook.  
Bazan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bazan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Metro slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Metro tries to land an overhand left, but Bazan sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Metro pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Bazan advances into close range.  Bazan pivots from in front of his opponent.  As Bazan tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Metro dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Metro.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Bazan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bazan hits home with a cross.  
Bazan gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Metro slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Bazan's body.  
Bazan lands a cross.  
Bazan steps inside.  Bazan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bazan manouvers Metro into the red corner.  Bazan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Bazan snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Bazan steps inside.  Bazan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Metro switches the action to the outside.  Metro feints a jab, but Bazan does not fall for it and lands with a right hook.  
Bazan closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Bazan lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the body.  
Metro walks Bazan into a corner.  Bazan hits home with a left hook.

Metro advances into close range.  Bazan lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
