Corey Rodgerson vs Inigo Quilliam

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 12/05/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Corey Rodgerson (22(20) - 0) who hails from Markham, Canada and Inigo Quilliam(25(4) - 1(1) - 1) from Brampton, Canada.  Rodgerson weighed in at 147 pounds, while Quilliam weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Oliver, and the three ringside judges are Gerard Segalen, Aaron Henry and Paris Clarin.  

Round 1: 

Rodgerson connects with a firm cross.  
Rodgerson lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Quilliam advances into close range and hits home with a right uppercut.  Quilliam tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Quilliam walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Quilliam pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to Rodgerson's body.  
Quilliam is looking to close the distance.  Rodgerson lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Rodgerson tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rodgerson senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Quilliam and just needs the right shot.  Rodgerson lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES QUILLIAM!  He manages to get up at 4.  Quilliam now seems to have his senses back.  
Rodgerson feints a jab, and then lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Quilliam gets on the inside.  Quilliam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Rodgerson lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Quilliam is looking to close the distance.  Rodgerson attempts to land a right hook, but Quilliam blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Quilliam cuts off the ring, trapping Rodgerson on the ropes.  Quilliam is on target with a right hook.  
Rodgerson lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Quilliam quickly recovers.

Rodgerson throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Quilliam advances into close range.  Rodgerson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Quilliam lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Quilliam cuts off the ring, trapping Rodgerson on the ropes.  Rodgerson digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Quilliam pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rodgerson lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND QUILLIAM IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Quilliam could be stopped here, if Rodgerson can find the right shot!  Rodgerson lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS QUILLIAM DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Quilliam now seems to have got his legs back.  
Rodgerson lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Rodgerson is looking to keep his distance and lands a solid jab.  
Quilliam forces Rodgerson to back into the ropes.  Rodgerson lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND QUILLIAM IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Quilliam steps inside.  Rodgerson lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rodgerson tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Quilliam throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Rodgerson feints a jab, tricking Quilliam into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Rodgerson is waiting for the shot and counters with a MASSIVE left hook.  QUILLIAM IS HURT!  Quilliam recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Quilliam pivots to the side of his opponent.  Quilliam lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Quilliam attempts to land a right uppercut, but Rodgerson sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rodgerson is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Rodgerson steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rodgerson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Quilliam's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Rodgerson steps away from his opponent and lands a cross to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand left to the head.  
Quilliam is looking to close the distance and walks Rodgerson onto the ropes.  Quilliam lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Quilliam lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Quilliam tries to land a right hook, but Rodgerson parries the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.
