Dale Mattas vs Michael Kiangudi

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 16/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dale Mattas (11(4) - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Perth, Australia and Michael Kiangudi(23(1) - 7(3)) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Mattas and Kiangudi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Taggert, and the three ringside judges are John Taggart, Johnny Omans and Zain Sharifi.  

Round 1: 

Kiangudi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mattas is on target with a cross.  
Mattas lands a solid left hook.  
Mattas finds the target with a jab.  
Mattas gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Mattas lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KIANGUDI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Kiangudi can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mattas!
