John Wight vs Yasin Saba

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 06/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Southern John Wight (34(23) - 1 - 2) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Yasin Saba(16(3) - 9(3)) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Wight weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces, while Saba weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Kinnon, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Owen, Ian Lin and Ian Pitcairn.  

Round 1: 

Saba steps inside.  Wight throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Wight clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wight pushes his forearm into Saba's face.  The referee warns Wight and breaks the clinch.

Saba closes the distance.  Wight is on target with a left hook.  Wight holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Wight attempts to land a right hook, but Saba sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Wight is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.

Wight tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Saba is looking to close the distance.  Wight tries to land a right hook, but Saba slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.
