Hugh Takes vs Zachary Darby

Boxing Daily Report from the Joe Mama promoted show at Sydney Whitestone, Sydney,  taking place on 16/04/2035:

Clearly Joe Mama have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Takes (14 - 23 - 5) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Zachary Darby(4 - 6) from Sydney, Australia.  Takes weighed in at 135 pounds, while Darby weighed in at 134 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brad Hopper, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Curto, Ethan Capelli and Ian MacKellar.  

Round 1: 

Darby is on target with a jab.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Takes dabs at his face checking for damage.  Takes has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Darby attempts to land a jab, but Takes slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Darby is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Takes closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Darby slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
