Ali Zaloun vs Adnan Najor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jordan-Zarqa promoted show at Zarqa Zickby, Zarqa,  taking place on 12/04/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Jordan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on JTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ali Zaloun (18 - 9(6)) who hails from Zarqa, Jordan and Adnan Najor(13(11) - 1) from Irbid, Jordan.  Zaloun weighed in at 147 pounds and 8 ounces, while Najor weighed in at 147 pounds.    As Zaloun came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Yousuf, and the three ringside judges are Saad Khowley, Amer Eblin and Umair Ben.  

Round 1: 

Zaloun connects with a left hook.  Najor clinches his opponent.  Najor is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Najor about fouling.  
Najor walks Zaloun onto the ropes.  Zaloun drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Zaloun throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Zaloun's liver.  
Zaloun throws a right hook, but Najor ties up his opponent.  Najor is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Zaloun throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Zaloun lands with a spiteful jab.  
Najor advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  Najor holds on to his opponent.  Najor is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Zaloun hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Najor SLAMS a HUGE left hook into his opponents face.  ZALOUN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Najor ties up his opponent.  Najor leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Najor's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Zaloun quickly recovers. 
Najor connects with a solid cross.  
Najor hits home with a stinging jab.  
Najor gets on the inside.  Zaloun pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zaloun pivots to the right of his opponent.  Zaloun throws a left hook, but Najor holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Zaloun pushes his forearm into Najor's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Zaloun lands a jab.  
Najor steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Najor connects with a left hook.  
Zaloun lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Najor is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Zaloun blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Zaloun pivots to the side of his opponent.  Zaloun hits home with a left hook.  Najor ties up his opponent.  Najor leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Zaloun pushes his forearm into Najor's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Zaloun lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Najor quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Zaloun pivots to the side of his opponent.  Najor hits home with a cross.  
Najor gets on the inside.  Zaloun pivots to the side of his opponent.  Najor slams a big right hook into his opponents body.  ZALOUN IS HURT!

Najor lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Najor is looking to close the distance.  Zaloun connects with a right hook.  Zaloun attempts to land a left hook, but Najor blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Najor attempts to land a cross, but Zaloun sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Najor gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Najor digs in a stinging left uppercut to Zaloun's body.  ZALOUN IS HURT!  Zaloun recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Zaloun pivots to the left of his opponent.  Najor lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Najor is looking to close the distance.  Najor senses Zaloun is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Najor lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS ZALOUN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Najor is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  Zaloun now seems to have got his legs back.  
Najor gets on the inside.  Zaloun pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Zaloun stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Najor digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Najor gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, KNOCKING ZALOUN DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Najor!
