Kris Tosh vs Corey Smailes

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Tennis), Los Angeles,  taking place on 13/04/2035:

Clearly Gold Coast Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kris Tosh (23 - 21(4) - 4) who hails from Anaheim, USA and Corey Smailes(15 - 14(1) - 7 - 1(NC)) from Oakland, USA.  Tosh weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces, while Smailes weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Weir, and the three ringside judges are Sean Bowens, Rob Prichard and Zach Alanis.  

Round 1: 

Smailes advances into close range.  Tosh pivots from in front of his opponent.  Smailes connects with a right uppercut.
