Douglas Baird vs Jonathan Patteson

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at SEFCU Arena, Albany,  taking place on 24/05/2035:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (45(10) - 3(2)) who hails from Dundee, UK and Jonathan Patteson(14 - 12(2) - 1) from Vaughan, Canada.  Both Baird and Patteson weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ben Hopkins, and the three ringside judges are James McQueen, Richard Denholm and Mason Speirs.  

Round 1: 

Patteson tries to land a cross, but Baird blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Patteson pivots to the left of his opponent.  Baird lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Baird steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Patteson switches the action to the outside.  Baird quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging cross.  
Baird is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Baird closes the distance and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  Baird clinches his opponent.  Baird tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Patteson behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Baird is on target with a solid right uppercut.  Baird ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Baird pushes his forearm into Patteson's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Baird to stop fouling.  
Baird throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Baird ties up his opponent.  Baird leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Baird closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Baird advances into close range.  Patteson throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Baird lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Baird digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Baird holds on to his opponent.  Baird leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Patteson dabs at his face checking for damage.

Baird advances into close range.  Patteson throws a right hook, but Baird ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Baird pushes his forearm into Patteson's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
