Matt Dorch vs Ghevont Finigyan

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 01/04/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Dorch (27(24) - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Ghevont Finigyan(18 - 7(3) - 1) from Yerevan, Armenia.  Both Dorch and Finigyan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shane Cody, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Fitzgerald, Thomas McShane and Clinton MacAdam.  

Round 1: 

Dorch is on target with a firm cross.  
Dorch steps inside.  Dorch sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dorch lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Dorch clinches his opponent.  Dorch pushes his forearm into Finigyan's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dorch crashes a mean left hook to his opponents body.  FINIGYAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Dorch sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Dorch drives a forceful left hook into his opponents liver.  FINIGYAN IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Dorch lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS FINIGYAN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Finigyan has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Dorch sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Dorch is on target with a cross.  Dorch tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dorch advances into close range.  Finigyan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Finigyan throws a left uppercut, but Dorch clinches his opponent.  Dorch pushes his forearm into Finigyan's face.  The ref breaks Dorch's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dorch lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Finigyan is on target with a left hook.  Dorch clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Dorch pushes his forearm into Finigyan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dorch to stop fouling.  
Finigyan closes the distance.  Dorch tries to land a left hook, but Finigyan sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Finigyan attempts to land a right hook, but Dorch sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Dorch tries to land a jab, but Finigyan dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dorch throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Dorch ties up his opponent.  Dorch tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Finigyan behind the head. Dorch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Dorch gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  Dorch ties up his opponent.  Dorch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Dorch's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Finigyan gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Dorch blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Finigyan cuts off the ring, trapping Dorch on the ropes.  Finigyan throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Dorch advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dorch dabs at his face checking for damage.

Dorch manouvers Finigyan into a corner.  Dorch pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dorch drives a right uppercut into Finigyan's ribs.  
Finigyan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Finigyan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Dorch holds on to his opponent.  Dorch leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Finigyan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Finigyan throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Finigyan's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Finigyan's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Finigyan's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Dorch lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Finigyan almost instantly gets his legs back.

Dorch lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Dorch tries to land a left hook, but Finigyan sidesteps and counters with a cross.
