Mauro Alboni vs Fausto Chiamparino

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Antonio Schettini Gym, Messina,  taking place on 27/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mauro Alboni (5 - 21 - 4) who hails from Catania, Italy and Fausto Chiamparino(23 - 10(1) - 5) from Palermo, Italy.  Both Alboni and Chiamparino weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodolfo Candreva, and the three ringside judges are Nico Scagni, Giorgio Domenici and Marco Scopelliti.  

Round 1: 

Alboni gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Alboni tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
Chiamparino connects with a left hook.  
Chiamparino sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Chiamparino lands a left uppercut.  
Chiamparino digs in a left hook to Alboni's ribs.

Alboni digs in a right uppercut to Chiamparino's body.  Alboni attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Chiamparino's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Chiamparino advances into close range.  Alboni pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Chiamparino throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Alboni's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Chiamparino's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Chiamparino's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Chiamparino steps inside.  Chiamparino wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alboni dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Alboni.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
