Zack Ploch vs Francisco Correa

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 16/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zack Ploch (36(13) - 5(1) - 2) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Francisco Correa(21(1) - 5(2) - 2) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Ploch weighed in at 112 pounds, while Correa weighed in at 111 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Will Ducat, and the three ringside judges are Dylan Waddell, Paul Herring and David Ness.  

Round 1: 

Ploch closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ploch throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Correa is looking to keep his distance.  Correa feints a right, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ploch advances into close range.  Ploch lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Correa is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Correa lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Ploch lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ploch attempts to land a right hook, but Correa sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Correa tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Correa dabs at his face checking for damage.  Correa has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Ploch manages to force Correa into the corner.  Ploch feints a jab, but Correa is not fooled and responds with a cross.  
Ploch advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ploch lands a left uppercut, jab and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ploch closes the distance.  Correa pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ploch hits home with a right hook.  
Ploch steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ploch tries to land a right uppercut, but Correa slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Ploch's body.  
Ploch walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ploch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Correa steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Correa's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Correa steps away from his opponent and is on target with a sharp jab.  
Ploch gets on the inside.  Correa is on target with a right hook.  Correa attempts to land a left hook, but Ploch blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Correa steps away from his opponent and hits home with a solid jab.  
Ploch steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Correa steps to the outside.  Correa sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ploch throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ploch advances into close range.  Correa attempts to land a left hook, but Ploch parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Ploch closes the distance.  Ploch pivots to the left of his opponent and slams a hurtful right hook into Correa's body.  DOWN GOES CORREA!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Ploch connects with a right hook.  
Ploch steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Ploch advances into close range and slams a spiteful right hook into Correa's ribs.  CORREA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Correa almost instantly recovers. 
Correa is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Ploch hits home with a right uppercut.  
Ploch tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ploch walks Correa onto the ropes.  Correa throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ploch pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Ploch digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Correa lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ploch forces Correa to retreat onto the ropes.  Correa hits home with a left hook.  
Ploch lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Ploch senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Ploch lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, KNOCKING CORREA DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Correa has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ploch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Correa's liver.

Ploch lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Correa tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a stiff jab.  
Ploch throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ploch drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  Ploch clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ploch pushes his forearm into Correa's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ploch to stop fouling.  
Ploch lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Correa steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to Ploch's body.  
Ploch steps inside.  Correa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ploch lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Ploch manages to force Correa into the blue corner.  Ploch is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Ploch slams a spiteful right uppercut into Correa's body.  CORREA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Correa now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ploch sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ploch slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents ribs.  CORREA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Ploch ties up his opponent.  Ploch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ploch lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS CORREA TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Correa can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ploch!
