Michael McPhie vs Chris Shives

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Richmond Lannon, Richmond,  taking place on 20/03/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael McPhie (24(2) - 8(2) - 1) who hails from Chesapeake, USA and Chris Shives(22 - 17(1) - 6) from Norfolk, USA.  Both McPhie and Shives weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Regan, and the three ringside judges are Adam Walls, Cole Scott and Hugh Wallach.  

Round 1: 

McPhie is looking to close the distance.  McPhie lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McPhie dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to McPhie.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

McPhie steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shives tries to keep the action at long range.  McPhie lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

McPhie feints a jab, fooling Shives into launching a right hook counter.  McPhie is waiting for the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to Shives's ribcage.

McPhie feints a left, and then lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

McPhie walks his opponent into the corner.  McPhie hits home with a solid right hook.

McPhie feints a jab, fooling Shives into throwing a cross counter.  McPhie avoids the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.
