Alec Mundy vs Joshua Carrithers

Boxing Daily Report from the Dana White promoted show at Surrey Erving, Surrey,  taking place on 20/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alec Mundy (4 - 8 - 2) who hails from Vancouver, Canada and Joshua Carrithers(2 - 16(2) - 9) from Surrey, Canada.  Mundy weighed in at 122 pounds, while Carrithers weighed in at 121 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jacob Peairs, and the three ringside judges are Spencer Clary, Mick Hanning and Mike Messer.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Carrithers.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
