Malik Sadek vs Paul Cassam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Nakuru Cheserem, Nakuru,  taking place on 18/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Malik Sadek (13(2) - 5 - 1) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Paul Cassam(11 - 11 - 5) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Sadek weighed in at 153 pounds And 7 ounces, while Cassam weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marques Muriuki, and the three ringside judges are Jack Chepchumba, Andy Uttien and Andy Uttien.  

Round 1: 

Sadek digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Sadek lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sadek manages to force Cassam onto the ropes.  Sadek lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Sadek lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sadek gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sadek throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Sadek clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Sadek pushes his forearm into Cassam's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sadek about fouling.

Sadek tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Cassam gets on the inside.  Sadek is on target with a left hook to Cassam's ribs.  
Cassam manages to force Sadek onto the ropes.  Cassam attempts to land a right hook, but Sadek blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cassam throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sadek quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Sadek lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Sadek clinches his opponent.  Sadek hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cassam throws a right hook, but Sadek holds on to his opponent.  Sadek leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sadek lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sadek digs in a right hook to Cassam's body.  Sadek clinches his opponent.  Sadek tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cassam's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sadek about fouling.  
Sadek lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cassam attempts to land a left uppercut, but Sadek sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sadek gets on the inside.  Sadek quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cassam dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cassam's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Cassam's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
