Esteban Merida vs Diego Bandera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Portoviejo Leano, Portoviejo,  taking place on 14/03/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Esteban Merida (13(8) - 1) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Diego Bandera(18 - 13(2) - 5) from Portoviejo, Ecuador.  Both Merida and Bandera weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Robaina, Dario Cruz and Alano Enriques.  

Round 1: 

Merida feints a cross and triggers a right uppercut counter from Bandera.  Merida is waiting for the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
