Max Harp vs Bature Kalu

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Croke Park, Dublin,  taking place on 17/03/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Max Harp (15(12) - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Bature Kalu(13 - 4(1)) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Both Harp and Kalu weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas Burke, and the three ringside judges are Jason Farrell, Leon Mohan and Rob Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Harp attempts to land a jab, but Kalu slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Harp connects with a firm right uppercut.  
Harp hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  Harp clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Harp pushes his forearm into Kalu's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Harp.  As Harp tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kalu dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kalu.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Harp is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Kalu steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Harp is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Harp is on target with a stinging cross.  
Harp steps away from his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
Kalu closes the distance.  Kalu pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kalu throws a left hook, but Harp clinches his opponent.  Harp hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Kalu throws a right uppercut, but Harp holds on to his opponent.  Harp is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Harp switches the action to the outside.  Harp feints a right, and then lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kalu almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Harp steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Kalu closes the distance and walks Harp onto the ropes.  Kalu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Harp lands a hurtful right hook.  KALU IS HURT!  
Kalu now seems to have his senses back.  
Harp is on target with a firm cross.  
Harp steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Harp steps inside and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Kalu lands a left uppercut.  
Harp hits home with a solid left hook.  
Harp drives a firm left hook into Kalu's ribs.  Harp clinches his opponent.  Kalu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Harp's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Harp steps away from his opponent and lands a stinging cross.  
Harp tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Harp connects with a solid right hook.  
Harp lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kalu tries to keep the action at long range.  Harp lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Harp advances into close range.  Kalu pivots from in front of his opponent.  Harp is on target with a solid right uppercut to Kalu's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Harp's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kalu's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Kalu is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Harp dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kalu hits home with a left hook.  
Harp is looking to keep his distance and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Harp is looking to keep his distance and lands a firm cross.  
Harp lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Harp lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kalu pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kalu is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Kalu throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Harp steps to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Kalu steps inside.  Harp digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Kalu throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Harp switches the action to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Harp steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Kalu is on target with a left hook.  
Harp is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Kalu steps to the outside.  Harp lands a FEARSOME overhand right.  KALU IS HURT!  Kalu almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kalu manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kalu pivots to the right of his opponent andKalu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Harp dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Harp drives a left hook into Kalu's body.  
Kalu steps to the outside.  Harp DETONATES a big cross on his opponents face.  KALU IS HURT!  

Kalu advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Harp steps to the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
Harp throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Harp tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kalu is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Harp is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Harp steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Kalu advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Harp is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Harp lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kalu's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kalu's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Kalu gets on the inside.  Harp tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kalu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Harp lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND DROPS KALU!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Harp hits home with a stinging overhand left.  
Harp closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Harp sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Harp steps to the outside and SLAMS a big cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE KALU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Harp stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Harp lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS KALU!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Harp!
