Mark Duncan vs Sami Kapanen

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 02/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mark Duncan (45(37) - 1) who hails from Spokane, USA and Sami Kapanen(30(2) - 17(9) - 2) from Helsinki, Finland.  Duncan weighed in at 200 pounds, while Kapanen weighed in at 199 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Hyland, and the three ringside judges are Alen Pryor, Oscar Hall and Morgan Reuben.  

Round 1: 

Duncan tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Kapanen closes the distance and walks Duncan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kapanen drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.

Duncan thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Kapanen away.  Duncan lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES KAPANEN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Kapanen steps inside.  Duncan lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Kapanen now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Kapanen gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Duncan slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Duncan steps to the outside.  Kapanen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Duncan lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Kapanen gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into Duncan's body.  
Duncan steps to the outside and connects with a HUGE cross.  KAPANEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kapanen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Duncan lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Kapanen gets on the inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Kapanen digs in a right hook to Duncan's body.  
Duncan tries to keep the action at long range and lands a firm overhand right.

Kapanen steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Kapanen drives a right uppercut into Duncan's body.  
Kapanen feints a jab, but Duncan is not fooled and lands with a cross.  
Duncan connects with a sharp right hook.
