Bob Ridpath vs Robert Platter

Boxing Daily Report from the Silverboypromotions promoted show at Houston Hire, Houston,  taking place on 08/03/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Texas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bob Ridpath (23 - 13(1) - 1) who hails from Dallas, USA and Robert Platter(20 - 8(1) - 2) from Austin, USA.  Ridpath weighed in at 135 pounds and 9 ounces, while Platter weighed in at 135 pounds.    As Ridpath came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Joey Moat, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Flaws, Gus Samuel and Faisal Rasul.
