Jack Probert vs Mason Atkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkrumah Promotions promoted show at Albuquerque Ker, Albuquerque,  taking place on 07/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-New Mexico Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Probert (3 - 17(1) - 2) who hails from Albuquerque, USA and Mason Atkins(15 - 5) from Albuquerque, USA.  Probert weighed in at 159 pounds and 11 ounces, while Atkins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kris Lorimer, and the three ringside judges are Gus Maddix, Rob Guerrero and Jacob Yuille.  

Round 1: 

Atkins closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Atkins steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Atkins clinches his opponent.  Atkins is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Atkins and breaks the clinch.  
Probert sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Atkins lands an overhand left.  
Atkins manages to force Probert into the corner.  Atkins sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Probert throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Atkins clinches his opponent.  Atkins tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Probert's kidney. The ref breaks Atkins's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Atkins lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Atkins advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Atkins closes the distance.  Probert pivots to the side of his opponent.  Probert throws a right hook, but Atkins clinches his opponent.  Atkins leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Atkins steps inside.  Atkins sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Atkins is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Atkins advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Atkins lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Atkins lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Atkins lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Atkins digs in a right hook to Probert's body.  
Atkins lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Atkins ties up his opponent.  Atkins leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Atkins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Probert steps to the outside.  Atkins lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Atkins manages to force Probert into the corner.  Atkins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Probert dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Probert's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Probert's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Probert's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
