Ciaran McCaig vs Robert Lyle

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 10/02/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ciaran McCaig (2 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Robert Lyle(3 - 6 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Both McCaig and Lyle weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Rabb, and the three ringside judges are Mel Culp, Tobias Bruce and Justin Din.  

Round 1: 

McCaig steps inside.  McCaig quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McCaig lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  McCaig holds on to his opponent.  McCaig pushes his forearm into Lyle's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McCaig about fouling.  
McCaig lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
McCaig lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

McCaig gets on the inside.  Lyle throws a left hook, but McCaig ties up his opponent.  McCaig leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
