Mark Pappas vs Gregor MacPherson

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 18/11/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mark Pappas (6 - 0) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Gregor MacPherson(3 - 16(2) - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Pappas and MacPherson weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Taggart, and the three ringside judges are Chris Sneden, Ethan Zeatounian and Ethan Smillie.  

Round 1: 

Pappas digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Pappas hits home with a firm left hook.  
Pappas connects with a stinging cross.  
MacPherson steps away from his opponent.  Pappas lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Pappas gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Pappas is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Pappas clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Pappas pushes his forearm into MacPherson's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pappas.  
Pappas advances into close range.  Pappas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pappas lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pappas forces MacPherson to back into a corner.  MacPherson throws a left uppercut, but Pappas holds on to his opponent.  Pappas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Pappas walks MacPherson down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pappas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

MacPherson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pappas connects with a firm cross.  
MacPherson tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pappas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pappas walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Pappas lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Pappas tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pappas lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Pappas ties up his opponent.  Pappas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Pappas tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacPherson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pappas is on target with a right hook.  Pappas holds on to his opponent.  Pappas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits MacPherson behind the head. Pappas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Pappas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacPherson's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  MacPherson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  MacPherson's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
