Gus Carruthers vs John Cheves

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at College Street Music Hall, New Haven,  taking place on 06/11/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Gus Carruthers (6 - 0) who hails from Miami, USA and John Cheves(4(1) - 0) from Portland, USA.  Both Carruthers and Cheves weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Liddell, and the three ringside judges are Phil Stephen, John Boal and John Kippen.
