Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Place Bell, Laval,  taking place on 25/11/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Telford de Vigny (9(7) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Lloyd Arletty(2 - 1 - 1) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Both de Vigny and Arletty weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gerard Segalen, and the three ringside judges are Tujan Racine, Johnny Smith and Phil Pearce.  

Round 1: 

Arletty tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
de Vigny steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING ARLETTY TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  de Vigny ties up his opponent.  de Vigny pushes his forearm into Arletty's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns de Vigny to stop fouling.  
de Vigny lands two straights to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
de Vigny steps inside.  Some sustained pressure from de Vigny could be enough to finish Arletty!  de Vigny lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS ARLETTY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Arletty now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
de Vigny lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
de Vigny pivots from in front of his opponent.  Arletty attempts to land a jab, but de Vigny sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
de Vigny advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Arletty's body.  de Vigny clinches his opponent.  de Vigny is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks de Vigny's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
de Vigny is on target with a right hook.  de Vigny tries to land a left hook, but Arletty dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

de Vigny walks Arletty into a neutral corner.  de Vigny throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  de Vigny clinches his opponent.  de Vigny leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks de Vigny's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
de Vigny walks Arletty into the corner.  de Vigny connects with a solid left hook.  de Vigny attempts to land a left hook, but Arletty blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
de Vigny lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
de Vigny feints a jab, tricking Arletty into throwing a cross counter.  de Vigny springs the trap and counters with  a left hook.  
de Vigny closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
de Vigny is looking to close the distance.  de Vigny pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Arletty tries to step out of his opponents range.  de Vigny drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
de Vigny closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  de Vigny holds on to his opponent.  de Vigny uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Arletty's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
de Vigny walks Arletty onto the ropes.  de Vigny sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
de Vigny quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
de Vigny lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
de Vigny lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
de Vigny lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Arletty is looking to keep his distance.  de Vigny drives a jab into Arletty's body.

de Vigny walks Arletty down, trapping him in a corner.  de Vigny digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
de Vigny DETONATES a HUGE left hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE ARLETTY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  de Vigny holds on to his opponent.  de Vigny is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks de Vigny's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Arletty recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Arletty steps to the outside.  de Vigny lands with a spiteful jab.  
de Vigny steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
de Vigny hits home with a stinging left hook.  
de Vigny lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
de Vigny closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Arletty's body.  de Vigny clinches his opponent.  de Vigny uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Arletty behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  de Vigny tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
de Vigny connects with a cross.  
Arletty tries to keep the action at long range.  de Vigny hits home with a solid cross.  
de Vigny steps inside and forces Arletty to retreat into a neutral corner.  de Vigny lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND ARLETTY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is de Vigny!
