Xaver Salmeron vs Michael Ogg

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Showtime Gym, Miami,  taking place on 02/11/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xaver Salmeron (6 - 0) who hails from Chihuahua, Mexico and Michael Ogg(2 - 3 - 1) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Both Salmeron and Ogg weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Romans, and the three ringside judges are Robert Johnstone, Joshua Vara and Cody Grant.  

Round 1: 

Ogg steps away from his opponent.  Salmeron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Salmeron is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Salmeron clinches his opponent.  Ogg pushes his forearm into Salmeron's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ogg about fouling.  
Salmeron gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ogg drives a left hook into Salmeron's liver.  
Salmeron steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Salmeron lands a firm left uppercut.  
Salmeron lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Salmeron lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Salmeron steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Salmeron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Salmeron advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ogg tries to keep the action at long range.  Salmeron lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Salmeron steps inside and digs in a sharp left uppercut to Ogg's body.  
Salmeron digs in a firm left uppercut to Ogg's body.  
Ogg steps to the outside.  Salmeron is on target with a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ogg's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ogg's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Salmeron closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Salmeron lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Ogg is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Salmeron is on target with a cross.  
Salmeron closes the distance and lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Salmeron advances into close range.  Ogg pivots to the left of his opponent.  Salmeron lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Salmeron lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Salmeron gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to Ogg's ribs.

Salmeron manages to force Ogg onto the ropes.  Salmeron pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Salmeron thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Ogg away.  Salmeron lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND OGG IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Ogg now seems to have his senses back.
