Darryl Dorward vs Leeroy Sneddon

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Luna Park Big Top, Sydney,  taking place on 07/10/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Darryl Dorward (4 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Leeroy Sneddon(1 - 5) from Brisbane, Australia.  Dorward weighed in at 229 pounds and 11 ounces, while Sneddon weighed in at 238 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bart Aday, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Powell, Louis Porzhnev and Isaac Twaddell.  

Round 1: 

Dorward finds the target with a jab.

Dorward gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Dorward manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Dorward tries to land a right hook, but Sneddon parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dorward is on target with a left hook to Sneddon's ribs.  
Dorward closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Dorward lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Dorward ties up his opponent.  Dorward leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dorward is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dorward hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Dorward steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Dorward holds on to his opponent.  Dorward leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
