Diego Machin vs Jaguar Ocana

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Centro de Convenciones Figali, Panama City,  taking place on 19/10/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Central American Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Machin (27(19) - 4 - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Jaguar Ocana(21(7) - 1(1)) from San Miguelito, Panama.  Machin weighed in at 115 pounds, while Ocana weighed in at 114 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Malvolio Rosa, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Serafin, Alejandro Magdaleno and Roman Giraldo.  

Round 1: 

Ocana is on target with a cross to Machin's body.  
Ocana tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Machin slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Machin feints a cross, but Ocana ignores the feint and responds with a left hook.  
Machin digs in a left hook to Ocana's ribs.  
Machin lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Machin lands a sharp cross.  
Ocana pivots to the side of his opponent.  Machin lands a cross.  
Machin is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Machin gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Machin feints a left hook, and then lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ocana snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Machin gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Machin senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Machin whips in a big right uppercut to Ocana's body.  OCANA IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Ocana has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ocana lands a ramrod jab.  
Machin gets on the inside.  Ocana hits home with a right hook.  
Machin lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ocana lands a stiff jab.  
Ocana steps to the outside.  Machin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Machin steps inside.  Machin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ocana sidesteps to the left of his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Machin's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Machin walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Machin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ocana almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ocana's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ocana's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Machin lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Machin drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Machin digs in a forceful right uppercut to Ocana's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OCANA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Machin knows Ocana is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Machin lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Machin lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, DROPPING OCANA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Ocana has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Machin attempts to land a left hook, but Ocana dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Machin connects with a stinging cross.  
Ocana lands with a stinging jab.  Ocana throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Machin steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but Ocana blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ocana lands a jab.  
Machin advances into close range.  Ocana pivots to the left of his opponent.  Machin drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Machin clinches his opponent.  Ocana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Machin pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ocana is on target with a right uppercut to Machin's body.  
Ocana lands with a spiteful jab.  
Machin gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Ocana's body.  Machin ties up his opponent.  Machin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ocana is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Machin closes the distance and slams a big right hook into Ocana's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OCANA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Machin forces Ocana to retreat onto the ropes.  Machin stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Machin lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS OCANA DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Machin!
