Rance Beger vs Thulani Shabangu

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 28/10/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rance Beger (15(5) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Thulani Shabangu(27(2) - 5(2) - 1) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Beger and Shabangu weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Kopa, and the three ringside judges are Granger Hinault, James Mabon and Vivien de Beauvoir.  

Round 1: 

Beger advances into close range and slams a mean left uppercut into Shabangu's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE SHABANGU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Beger holds on to his opponent.  Shabangu leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  Shabangu recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Shabangu throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Shabangu finds the target with a jab.  
Shabangu digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Beger digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Beger lands with a spiteful jab.  
Beger is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Shabangu steps away from his opponent.  Beger lands a cross.  
Shabangu steps to the outside.  Beger hits home with a cross.  
Beger lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Beger gets on the inside.  Shabangu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Shabangu throws a right hook, but Beger clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Shabangu pushes his forearm into Beger's face.  The referee warns Shabangu and breaks the clinch.  
Shabangu drives a left uppercut into Beger's ribs.  As Beger tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shabangu dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Beger lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Beger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a sharp right hook to Shabangu's ribcage.  
Beger throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shabangu tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Beger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shabangu tries to land a right hook, but Beger blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Beger lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Shabangu steps to the outside.  Beger tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Beger is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Shabangu attempts to land a jab, but Beger slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Beger closes the distance and lands a solid left hook.  
Shabangu connects with a left hook.  Beger ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Beger steps inside and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Beger holds on to his opponent.  Beger leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Beger's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Beger steps inside.  Shabangu could be stopped here, if Beger can find the right shot!  Beger lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS SHABANGU SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Shabangu now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Beger steps inside and DETONATES a mean right hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE SHABANGU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Beger knows Shabangu is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Beger lands two right uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING SHABANGU DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Shabangu can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Beger!
