Ming Ge vs Sun Soi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Wuming Gymnasium, Nanning,  taking place on 14/09/2034:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ming Ge (10(8) - 0) who hails from Taiyuan, China and Sun Soi(10 - 23(1) - 6) from Shanghai, China.  Both Ge and Soi weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Genjo Zhu, and the three ringside judges are Uang Miu, Zhuang Yeung and Li-Liang Un.  

Round 1: 

Soi is looking to keep his distance.  Ge hits home with an overhand left.  
Ge advances into close range and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Soi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ge snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Ge is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ge lands a left hook.  
Ge lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Ge holds on to his opponent.  Ge uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Soi behind the head. Ge pushes his forearm into Soi's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ge about fouling.  
Ge lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Ge holds on to his opponent.  Ge leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ge tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Soi's kidney. The ref breaks Ge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ge lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Ge holds on to his opponent.  Ge leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ge lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Ge lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ge digs in a sharp right hook to Soi's ribcage.  Ge clinches his opponent.  Ge leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ge sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Ge advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut.  Ge holds on to his opponent.  Ge is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ge pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ge throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ge steps inside.  Ge sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ge is on target with a left uppercut.  Ge ties up his opponent.  Ge is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ge pivots to the right of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Ge lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Soi walks Ge down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ge lands a right hook.  
Soi switches the action to the outside.  Ge lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Ge throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ge lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ge walks Soi down, trapping him in the corner.  Ge throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Soi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Soi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ge steps inside and is on target with a sharp right hook.

Ge advances into close range and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Ge finds the target with a jab.  
Ge is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Soi throws a right hook, but Ge clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ge pushes his forearm into Soi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ge.  
Ge lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Soi almost instantly recovers. 
Ge closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Ge lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ge manouvers Soi into the corner.  Ge lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Soi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ge lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ge lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Ge senses Soi is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Ge lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES SOI!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Ge feints a left hook, and then lands a powerful left uppercut.  DOWN GOES SOI!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Soi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ge walks Soi down, trapping him in the corner.  Ge lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ge lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Soi tries to keep the action at long range.  Ge lands a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Soi's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ge closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ge advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ge lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Soi now seems to have got his legs back.  
Ge manouvers Soi into the corner.  Ge lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Ge sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ge is on target with a right hook.  
Ge steps inside.  Ge digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Ge wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Soi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ge pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Ge lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ge gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Ge holds on to his opponent.  Ge pushes his forearm into Soi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ge.  
Ge lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ge is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Ge lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Soi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ge lands a big left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE SOI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Soi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Soi lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Soi steps away from his opponent.  Ge lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Ge steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Ge throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ge walks Soi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ge lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ge lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Ge connects with a right hook.  
Soi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ge drives a firm right hook into Soi's body.  
Soi connects with a cross.  
Ge steps inside.  Ge pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Ge cuts off the ring, trapping Soi in the corner.  Ge lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ge lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ge lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND SENDS SOI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Ge!
