Oscar Craigen vs Poto Irihapete

Boxing Daily Report from the Skol Promotions promoted show at Auckland Nessmith, Auckland,  taking place on 29/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Craigen (19(16) - 0 - 1) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Poto Irihapete(2 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Craigen and Irihapete weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Kellie, and the three ringside judges are Justin Patariki, Glynn Telford and Chris Kellie.  

Round 1: 

Craigen closes the distance.  Craigen pivots from in front of his opponent.  Craigen lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Craigen holds on to his opponent.  Craigen pushes his forearm into Irihapete's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Craigen.

Irihapete feints a left, and then tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Craigen feints a right hook, and then lands a left hook to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Craigen closes the distance.  Craigen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Irihapete throws a right hook, but Craigen holds on to his opponent.  Craigen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Irihapete's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Craigen.  
Craigen is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Craigen ties up his opponent.  Craigen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Craigen lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Craigen walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Craigen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Craigen clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Craigen pushes his forearm into Irihapete's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Craigen thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Irihapete away.  Craigen drives a telling left hook into Irihapete's body.  DOWN GOES IRIHAPETE!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Irihapete has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
