Reginald Mehler vs Barny Sanft

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Bremen promoted show at Ferde Jakob Gym, Bremen,  taking place on 22/09/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Bremen Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Reginald Mehler (5 - 8 - 4) who hails from Bremen, Germany and Barny Sanft(3 - 1) from Bremen, Germany.  Both Mehler and Sanft weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wendale Daut, and the three ringside judges are Ludvig Scherer, Edingu Stratmann and Wendale Daut.  

Round 1: 

Sanft lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sanft tries to land a left uppercut, but Mehler dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sanft pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.

Sanft cuts off the ring, trapping Mehler in the corner.  Sanft is on target with a left uppercut.  As Sanft tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mehler dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sanft digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Sanft advances into close range.  Mehler sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sanft lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Sanft tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a stinging cross.
