Confucius Mak vs Jin Yi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Sichuan promoted show at Yuan Chuang Gym, Nanchong,  taking place on 20/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Sichuan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Confucius Mak (2 - 7 - 5) who hails from Chengdu, China and Jin Yi(6 - 7 - 9) from Zigong, China.  Both Mak and Yi weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kong Jung, and the three ringside judges are Xing-fu Chee, HuiK'o May and Jun Leung.  

Round 1: 

Mak connects with a left hook.  
Mak hits home with a right uppercut.  Mak attempts to land a left hook, but Yi sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Mak's ribs.  
Yi is on target with a cross.  
Yi gets on the inside.  Yi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Yi digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Yi digs in a right hook to Mak's body.  
Mak hits home with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mak dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Yi walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Mak hits home with a left hook.  
Yi gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Yi steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Yi pivots from in front of his opponent andYi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mak dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mak's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mak's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Yi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
