Gregor Hughes vs Luka Jercic

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at RJM Salzburg, Salzburg,  taking place on 25/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Gregor Hughes (4 - 0) who hails from Sunderland, UK and Luka Jercic(2 - 1 - 1) from Split, Croatia.  Both Hughes and Jercic weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Merrill Laur, and the three ringside judges are Hewitt Avedik, Adelbert Heimann and Evrard Rapske.  

Round 1: 

Hughes advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Jercic throws a left hook, but Hughes holds on to his opponent.  Hughes leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Hughes uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Jercic's kidney. The ref breaks Hughes's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jercic's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Jercic's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
