Corey Galit vs Nemesio Tineo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Zamboanga City Coliseum, Zamboanga City,  taking place on 30/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Corey Galit (9(5) - 0) who hails from Pagadian, Philippines and Nemesio Tineo(16 - 12(5) - 2) from San Jose del Monte, Philippines.  Both Galit and Tineo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nasario Alo, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Bernardez, Tajo Manguino and Santiago Ferro.  

Round 1: 

Galit tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a firm overhand right.  
Galit quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Galit lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Galit drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Tineo attempts to land an overhand left, but Galit sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Tineo closes the distance.  Galit lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tineo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Galit lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Galit clinches his opponent.  Tineo leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Galit pushes his forearm into Tineo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Galit about fouling.  
Galit switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tineo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Galit lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Galit lands a sharp cross.  
Tineo hits home with a left hook.  
Galit lands with a ramrod jab.  
Galit finds the target with a jab.  
Galit steps to the outside.  Tineo stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Galit lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Galit attempts to land an overhand right, but Tineo sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tineo gets on the inside.  Galit digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tineo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Galit lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tineo advances into close range.  Galit lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Tineo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Galit is looking to keep his distance and drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Galit lands with a hard jab.  
Tineo advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Galit lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Galit holds on to his opponent.  Tineo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Tineo advances into close range.  Galit is on target with a right hook.  Galit ties up his opponent.  Galit leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Galit's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Tineo gets on the inside and forces Galit to retreat onto the ropes.  Galit lands a FEARSOME left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE TINEO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Galit senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Galit connects with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  TINEO IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Galit!
