Kolya Kovalsky vs Evgeny Kochkin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Saint Petersburg promoted show at Saint Petersburg Lampeev, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 04/09/2034:

Clearly AI Russia-Saint Petersburg have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Saint Petersburg Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kolya Kovalsky (6 - 5 - 3) who hails from Saint Petersburg, Russia and Evgeny Kochkin(8 - 14 - 7) from Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Both Kovalsky and Kochkin weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aleksei Ponkrashov, and the three ringside judges are Luka Kochkin, Dimi Dundukov and Mikhail Dvorny.  

Round 1: 

Kochkin is looking to keep his distance.  Kovalsky lands an overhand left.  
Kovalsky drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Kochkin attempts to land an overhand left, but Kovalsky sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Kovalsky is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Kovalsky closes the distance.  Kovalsky quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Kochkin's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kovalsky drives a right hook into Kochkin's body.  
Kochkin goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Kovalsky time to recover.
