Hiroki Okura vs Taro Miura

Boxing Daily Report from the Jely Pr. promoted show at Yodogawa Ward Center, Osaka,  taking place on 05/09/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Osaka Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiroki Okura (15 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Taro Miura(13 - 8(1) - 5) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Okura and Miura weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Katayama, and the three ringside judges are Mitsuru Imamura, Kazuhiko Tsutsumi and Akira Iha.  

Round 1: 

Miura closes the distance.  Okura pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Okura switches the action to the outside.  Miura attempts to land a cross, but Okura sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Miura gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Okura in the corner.  Okura lands a left hook.  
Miura steps inside.  Okura digs in a right hook to Miura's ribs.  
Miura lands a left uppercut.  
Miura is on target with a cross.  
Miura steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Miura closes the distance.  Miura pivots to the left of his opponent.  Okura drives a left hook into Miura's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Okura's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Miura's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Okura tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Miura sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Okura lands a cross.

Okura is on target with a jab.  
Okura strikes his opponents body with a cross.
