Santiago Rodriguez vs Rory Clapperton

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at RJM Gym, Cambridge,  taking place on 21/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Santiago Rodriguez (0 - 0) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Rory Clapperton(1 - 6 - 3) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both Rodriguez and Clapperton weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Whelan, and the three ringside judges are Bob Noon, Leighton Dodd and Frank McCance.

Rodriguez steps to the outside.  Clapperton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rodriguez connects with a cross.

Clapperton lands a right hook.  
Rodriguez closes the distance.  Clapperton pivots to the right of his opponent and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Rodriguez's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
