Yakubu Girei vs Azubuike Tor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Chukunyere, Kano,  taking place on 01/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yakubu Girei (25 - 15 - 5) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Azubuike Tor(26 - 6) from Kano, Nigeria.  Girei weighed in at 126 pounds, while Tor weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chinedu Monu, and the three ringside judges are Azubuike Umeasiegbu, Obafemi Olayinka and Nathaniel Abiola.  

Round 1: 

Girei pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tor throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
