Onofre Gonzalez vs Joaquin Cartaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Quainoo Promotions promoted show at San Luis Potosi Heras, San Luis Potosi,  taking place on 29/08/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-San Luis Potosi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Onofre Gonzalez (23(4) - 1(1)) who hails from San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Joaquin Cartaya(4 - 9 - 3) from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  Both Gonzalez and Cartaya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Chirino, and the three ringside judges are Diego Valdovinos, Rico Borjas and Vicente Villalpando.  

Round 1: 

Gonzalez lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.

Gonzalez clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gonzalez pushes his forearm into Cartaya's face.  The referee warns Gonzalez and breaks the clinch.  
Gonzalez snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Gonzalez gets on the inside.  Gonzalez lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Gonzalez.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Gonzalez lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Gonzalez steps inside.  Cartaya pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gonzalez lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Cartaya is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gonzalez finds the target with a jab.
