Hideki Arata vs Jun Shintani

Boxing Daily Report from the RCB promoted show at Tokyo Aquatics Centre, Tokyo,  taking place on 02/09/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TBS, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hideki Arata (8(6) - 0 - 1) who hails from Ichikawa, Japan and Jun Shintani(1 - 4 - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Arata and Shintani weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Taro Sunada, and the three ringside judges are Dai Fujita, Isamu Nonaka and Hisao Yamane.  

Round 1: 

Shintani lands a jab.  
Arata steps inside.  Arata pivots to the right of his opponent.  Shintani tries to land a right uppercut, but Arata slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Shintani is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Arata connects with an overhand right.  
Arata hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Arata closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Arata walks Shintani down, trapping him in the red corner.  Arata lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Arata drives a stinging left hook into Shintani's ribs.  
Arata lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Arata lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Arata is looking to close the distance.  Arata pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Shintani recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Shintani pivots to the side of his opponent.  Arata lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Arata closes the distance and forces Shintani to retreat into the blue corner.  Arata lands a left uppercut.  
Arata lands a left hook.  
Arata lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Arata is on target with a right hook.  
Shintani steps to the outside.  Arata lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Arata gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Arata lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Arata attempts to land a left hook, but Shintani blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shintani's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Shintani's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Shintani's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Shintani's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Arata lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shintani throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Arata lands a sharp left hook.  
Arata feints a left, and then lands with a hard jab.  
Arata lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS SHINTANI DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Shintani quickly recovers. 
Arata lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Shintani almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Arata walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Arata lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Arata connects with a firm left hook.  
Shintani tries to step out of his opponents range.  Arata drives a jab into Shintani's body.  
Arata lands a sharp right hook.  
Arata advances into close range.  Arata sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Arata steps inside and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Shintani hits home with a cross.  Shintani tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Arata is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Arata lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Arata lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Shintani almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Arata drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Arata lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS SHINTANI!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Arata lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Arata lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND DROPS SHINTANI!  The ref does not give Shintani the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Arata!
