Zacarias Ayon vs Tajo Lainez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-La Libertad promoted show at Trujillo Arena, Trujillo,  taking place on 16/08/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Peru Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zacarias Ayon (22(18) - 5(5)) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Tajo Lainez(18 - 9 - 3) from Lima, Peru.  Both Ayon and Lainez weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Pineda, and the three ringside judges are Marjun Viera, Xalvador Valladolid and Tajo Pelayo.  

Round 1: 

Lainez steps inside.  Ayon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ayon throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Ayon ties up his opponent.  Ayon pushes his forearm into Lainez's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ayon feints a jab, tricking Lainez into throwing a left hook counter.  Ayon is waiting for the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Ayon is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Ayon steps inside.  Ayon sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Ayon lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND LAINEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Lainez now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ayon gets on the inside.  Ayon connects with a solid left hook.  Lainez wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ayon has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Lainez pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ayon is on target with a solid right hook.  
Ayon lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Ayon holds on to his opponent.  Ayon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ayon steps to the outside.  Ayon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ayon lands a solid jab.  Ayon attempts to land a jab, but Lainez slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lainez throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook to Lainez's body.  
Ayon steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ayon closes the distance.  Ayon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a nasty right hook.  LAINEZ IS HURT!  Lainez recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ayon lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ayon is on target with a firm right hook.  
Ayon cuts off the ring, trapping Lainez in a corner.  Ayon drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Ayon holds on to his opponent.  Ayon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Ayon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ayon to stop fouling.  
Ayon EXPLODES a BRUTAL right hook into his opponents face.  LAINEZ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Ayon digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Ayon is on target with a stinging cross.  
Ayon is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Ayon lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Lainez sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ayon lands a firm cross.  
Ayon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lainez throws a right uppercut, but Ayon clinches his opponent.  Ayon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ayon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lainez's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Lainez's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Lainez's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Ayon gets on the inside.  Ayon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING LAINEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Ayon!
