Paul Friel vs Danny Kinnison

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 20/08/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Friel (4(1) - 0) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Danny Kinnison(14 - 12(2) - 3) from Cork, Ireland.  Friel weighed in at 147 pounds, while Kinnison weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Steven Stewart, and the three ringside judges are Mike Green, Eoghan Markey and Joshua Dermott.  

Round 1: 

Friel lands an overhand right, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.

Kinnison steps inside.  Kinnison pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kinnison throws a right uppercut, but Friel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kinnison pushes his forearm into Friel's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kinnison to stop fouling.  
Friel is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Kinnison quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Friel lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Friel tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Friel's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kinnison's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Kinnison's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Kinnison walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Friel lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Kinnison steps inside.  Friel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Friel is looking to keep his distance and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Friel lands a sharp cross.  
Friel lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Friel is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Friel lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS KINNISON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Friel DETONATES a nasty right uppercut on his opponents face.  KINNISON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Kinnison now seems to have his senses back.

Friel lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kinnison cuts off the ring, trapping Friel on the ropes.  Friel throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kinnison time to recover.

Kinnison attempts to land a cross, but Friel dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Friel finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Friel hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Kinnison manouvers Friel onto the ropes.  Friel is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Kinnison closes the distance.  Friel lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Friel clinches his opponent.  Friel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Friel tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.
